Introduction
to Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Other Energy
Therapies
6
At the completion of this series,
clinicians will be familiar with the basics of Emotional
Freedom Techniques (EFT) and other energy therapies.
- These are techniques that
can rapidly alleviate psychological symptoms and emotional
discomfort. Special emphasis is placed on its ease
of application (the protocols take less than five
minutes to complete and, once learned, the client
can treat him/herself at home or in a clinical setting).
EFT and other energy therapies can offer dramatic
symptom relief and permanent resolution of even severe
and long-standing stressors for many of our clients.
The protocols have minimal, if any, known side effects.
- Recognize the situations
where EFT could be effective in reducing or eliminating
psychological distress in your clients.
- Learn protocols for treating
such conditions as phobias/anxiety, anger, trauma,
and depression. Opportunities are available for you
to reduce or eliminate some of your personal phobias/anxiety,
anger, depression and generalized stress using the
EFT and other energy techniques.
- Through group demonstrations
(with chocolate), learn how to reduce cravings and
addictions.
- Learn brain-balancing techniques,
such as Cooks Hookup and Collarbone Breathing.
Learn how to treat "Psychological Reversals." Discuss
how to work with complicated issues and the merits
of muscle testing.
NOTE: You will not
have to discuss your personal phobias, anger, traumas,
or depressed thoughts with other group members. Its
only necessary that you keep in mind the distress you
would like to resolve while you are using the treatment
sequences.
