Phone Consultations The ability to use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Personal Performance Coaching over the phone is an immense plus for my clients. Here are some of the advantages of phone consultations:

It is a highly efficient method. My clients can usually make an appointment when the problem (traumatic memory, phobia, anxiety, panic attack, compulsion, addictive craving, etc.) is happening. This is ideal because the problem, and all of its aspects, are front and center and can be dealt with on the spot. The alternative is to have clients wait until their formal appointment "next Wednesday" when it is no longer so ripe for treatment.

Clients call me from all over the world. They are no longer limited to working on their challenges in just their cities and surrounding communities. I've worked with many people from many countries as well as all over the United States who suffered from depression, anxiety, traumas, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), phobias, and other issues that were all relieved over the phone. I have never met them face to face.

Here are some specific examples:

  • I have worked with clients with fears of flying minutes before they get on planes, or while they are on the plane. And then they fly with little or no discomfort.
  • Other clients who suffered from panic attacks and agoraphobia and were too fearful to leave their houses have called me. After a few hours on the phone, they are able to move farther and farther out of their "safety zones."
  • Some people have actually called me from their cars when they have fears about highway driving or driving over bridges. Their stress is relieved within minutes as we work by phone.
  • One client called to work on "rage issues" which had damaged her work performance and jeopardized her safety while driving. (Road rage issues.) By the end of the session, those problems were no longer a concern to her.
  • Another client called me after he had been robbed on his job site. He was fearful of returning to work. His fears left him after 90 minutes on the phone when we used EFT.
  • Rape victims have called me. Their traumas have resolved.
  • People preparing for surgery have called me. They report that they are less scared during the surgery and that their recoveries seem faster and less painful.
  • Salespeople have called me because of "sales reluctance." They report improvements in their abilities to close deals after our sessions.
  • A woman called me because she had severe pain in her leg and was not able to walk because the pain increased when she put pressure on the leg. After 30 minutes, she was fine. Why? We found an "emotional reason" for the physical pain and that's when it resolved. (Many physical problems respond this way.)

Why Use Phone Coaching? Why Use Phone Coaching?

Phone work is not for everyone. Some people would rather meet face to face. Depending on their issues, there are some people for whom phone work would not be appropriate. And phone work, like any other method, is not perfect. My success rate with emotional issues is very high. For physical issues, my success rate is almost as high, but not quite, because physical issues often have an emotional component that needs to be explored. I accept payment by credit card for telephone consultations. Clients also pay for the cost of the call.

There are no promises or guarantees of success. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation during which time I try to assess if I think that EFT and Personal Performance Coaching can be useful. I let prospective clients know if I think I can help. I only work with people if I think they will have a good result. That makes my work much more fun for me. If we decide to arrange an appointment, I tell people that they will know within the first 30-60 minutes if the techniques are working. If they don't think they are seeing any results by then, I ask my clients to "fire" me.

Telephone consultations are ultimately less expensive and more convenient for my clients because they don't have to lose time from work or pay for a baby sitter or drive for an hour or so (round trip) to see me. This saves wear and tear on their cars, their gasoline budgets, and their time. Clients like it that they can also call and meet with me for just the amount of time that they need. We are not limited to the conventional 50-minute hour. If someone needs five minutes, that's how long we work. If someone needs two hours, we'll work for two hours. Working by phone allows for a lot of flexibility.
