| Dear Deborah,
My fear of flying had
become almost paralyzing. I had been fainting
and vomiting during every plane trip. For the
last ten years, I continued to travel with more
anxiety every trip. It was in October 1998 when
I realized that getting back on a plane would
be impossible for me.
And that's when I called
you. I called you the day before I was to leave
on a planned vacation. You must have heard my
desperation on the phone, because you agreed
to see me right away.
You introduced me to
your Emotional Freedom Techniques tapping methods
and it changed my life. Now I can travel again.
The next day I left on my trip, and now, several
times since, I've been on a plane with nothing
but good feelings and pleasant journeys.
I just wanted to tell
you how much I appreciate your energies in helping
me. Thanks again for giving me back one of the
great pleasures in my life.
Love, Linda (feel
free to use my name)

| Dear Deborah,
Thank you for all of
your help! I have a few words about your methods
of treatment that I'd like to share with you.
You have my permission to put the following
on your web-page or share it in any way you
see best.
I completely recommend
Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) as a method
of therapy to anyone who is trying to work through
a trauma or heavy life experience. Different
from conventional therapy, which I had tried
a few times in the past, TIR allowed me to come
to terms with old events in my life that had
far-reaching tentacles that continued to affect
the quality of my life. Instead of spending
weeks and months analyzing and defining the
events and my behavior, I experienced all the
fear, anger, frustration, revelation, and relief
in an amazingly short amount of time (about
two and a half hours); I recalled precise details
that I hadn't known were still inside me; I
gained an acceptance of the events, and of myself
that I didn't know was possible. I walked out
of Deborah's office feeling light and free.
I was skeptical about
therapy, since I had tried it before, without
much change. But I decided to try Deborah's
methods because she was enthusiastically convinced
that she could help me. She was right! I was
able to let go of long-term wounds in a couple
of hours and leave our session full of peace.
All that is needed is an open mind and willingness
to get better!
I loved using Emotional
Freedom Techniques (EFT) as a method of therapy
because it seems to combine the mind, body,
and spirit in its healing. With my fingertips,
I tapped certain pressure points on my face
and body while reciting specific words-my own
words-that were full of anger and fear regarding
a trauma from ten years ago. I continued to
tap until the anger lost its control and hold,
until the fear fell away. It was a powerful
experience, and soothing at the same time. When
I had finished, about 90 minutes later, the
anxiety and shame had disappeared. It has not
been back since, for which I am grateful. It
has freed me up to be myself, again.
Please feel free to
use the above as "testimonal" to your fine work.
Sincerely, [her name]

Although I was skeptical
when I began my therapy, I came out of it fully
convinced that Deborah Mitnick's methods of
therapy work! I can fully attest to the immediate
and amazing results. I do not feel the lurking
shame or guilt or fear that I tried to mask
for so long. I gained a sense of self-forgiveness,
and began to feel more fully alive, more a part
of myself again.

I had been experiencing
great sadness, anxiety, and symptoms of PTSD
due to both of my grown children abandoning
me about 3 years ago. I found Deborah's web-site
and began corresponding through e-mail Personal
Performance Coaching sessions to learn
about how EFT and TIR work and how they can
help. We had one phone session and after a
few minutes of talking and then by use of
the tapping and affirmations, I was completely
relieved of the pain and guilt, and was
able to feel my confidence return. I wrote
letters to my children releasing them and
I feel at peace with myself. The lifting
of this anxiety has had a "generalizing" effect
on my entire outlook and it has stayed with
me. Deborah was able to give me a life-changing
technique in about 30 minutes. We are
now continuing using e-mail for our coaching
sessions and I find that the act of being
completely clear in writing is as much or
maybe more effective as face to face traditional
therapy for me. I am completely satisfied
with this e-mail and phone coaching. I am
so grateful that the Internet brought me to
Deborah and her healing, knowledge and warmth.
I highly recommend this process with her.

| Dear Deborah,
Thank you for making
my journey through these waters a safe one.
Thank you for your en"courage"ment of me in
facing my fears, and in advance, for the waves
of joy and delight that I will allow to come
my way. Thank you for surveying with me the
deepest underpinnings of my life, and for allowing
me to find that the vessel that holds my soul
is well-founded and strong. Thank you for the
visions that have opened up for me. I know they
will continue!

I woke up this morning

You are a very lovely person. (Letter from

What I'm about to tell
you might not be good for your financial business,
but I've decided that I'm now untraumatized
and I want to cancel our next appointment because
I don't need it anymore. A great cloud has been
lifted from me and I thank you sincerely. (Phone
message)

Thank you very much
for seeing my patient. He was very pleased with
the experience and found it helpful and not
draining. After his appointment with you, he
went out and got a book about loving oneself.
He handled things better in all of his interactions
during the week. He was amazed at the effect
that experience had on him. I'm referring another
one of my patients to you today. She should
be calling you soon. (From a mental health
professional)

My son is doing incredibly
better, thanks to you.

The TIR really helped
and continues to help. It's made a big difference
in my life. It's alleviated the symptoms I had
before. I no longer have that phobia I had when
I came to see you. I got a handle on my problems
by seeing you and doing the TIR and the other
techniques you used. I'm very grateful to you.
You've been a big help to me.

(From a therapist
whose client wanted her to observe our TIR session)
The session was absolutely terrific. In 25 years
of working, the relief I saw on the patient's
face was astounding and I was really impressed.
It was great. I'm thoroughly impressed and I
think you did a wonderful job.

Thank you. I don't
think that when I left I thanked you enough
even though I know that your joy is seeing my
joy. I don't know if you know how important
or special what you gave me, or what you allowed
me to have was for me. You definitely have to
come up with a better word than "facilitator!"
The healing I had came from a very deep place
and it came from me, from a deep part of myself
that I haven't had access to for a long, long
time. I feel as if I have a clean slate to start
with again. Everything feels new now. I'm speechless.
I've taken a big leap over a huge abyss and
I hadn't been able to do that before. I feel
like I can go on now. I feel really good. Thank
you again. I will sleep well tonight. (Phone
message)
